Clearpass Guest User Repository with Microsoft AD

    Hi everyone,

    someone known if it's possible to use an ActiveDirectory as guest user repository. Customers would to create user accounts from Clearpass interface to populate active directory database.

    Unless I am mistaken, you cannot do that.

    Yes, you can use AD accounts in your guest portal. These will be pre-created I assume?

    - Authenticating with existing AD accounts on a guest network is possible.

    - To create AD accounts from the guest portal would require some custom scripting.

    Hi,

    thanks for replies,

    i suppose that mean, that this script will do a SQL DB request to CLEARPASS guest repository, then put in the AD ?

    Customers want to do that to keep a safely external database. And as his AD is automatically replicate, he think that is a good solution. May be we can use an external SQL DB to do the same fonctionality ?

    Anything is possible but it would all require custom scripts and code.
