Anyone done work on using language translation in ClearPass Guest?
After a year of running our guest device registration service with the default guest translation service we've got a user that is having an issue with registering his games console and the problem seems to be down to the default language of their browser.,...
If your browser is using english as the default language everything works
and the user sees our reg form with a drop down list of all the devices they can register ( as defined in CPG/Forms/airgroup_device_type dropdown ).
I've added some text round the actual registration form by inserting text in the mac_create "header html" dialogue
so the user sees an engish page with a reg form with all our options.
If your default browser language is another language e.g. french then what you get is
1). "wrap around text" = english
2). Registration form in default language
3). Contents of airgroup_device_type in different language that bears no . resemblance what so ever to the stuff I've defined in "CPG/Forms/airgroup_device_type dropdown "
Hoping that disabling auto translate fixes it temporarily but how are you supposed to define airgroup_device_type contents for multipole languages? Guess its using a default that doesn;t match up with what we use.
