Our sales team raisied the question about whether Clearpass will support a 3rd party integration with Microsoft intune? is there a reciepe already for this or is it on the roadmap?

We are continually reviewing the EMM/MDM vendors we partner with and as demand from the field for a particular vendor gains momentum we evaluate the benefits.

 

MSFT Intune is certainly close if not the top of the most requested vendor. Unfortunately today they do not have a API framework that we can use to build an integration solution. I am in very close contact with the MSFT PLM's who own Intune and were working in co-operation with them. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I just can't say anymore at this stage.

 

On a more positive note we have a home-built SQL integration one of our field specialist built that allows you to use the Intune SQL DB for an authz type function if that's of any use to you, but its a adhoc/not-supported/not-QA'd/not-blessed skunkworks solution.

 

 

does clearpass integrate with MS intune yet?

I'm still engaged with the MSFT product team but making slow progress unfortunately.

 

Their is a SQL option but this is an "as-is" solution.

Good Morning,

     It appears that Microsoft InTune via the Azure Cloud is becoming asked for more and more.  I had a two clients recently ask.  I saw a SQL query discussion, but where are we getting direct hooks from CPPM into InTune?

So I've completed the development of the integration. It will be delivered as   a CPPM Extension. We are just trying to close out the Scale & Performance  testing before we release it. 

 

This had been developed in co-op with MSFT and has their full backing unlike the SQL connector to SCCM + Intune-connector which was 'as-is'.

 

Now, the data exposed by MSFT is light compared to other MDM vendors and thus potentially some use-cased you might have expected to work can't be delivered. We are working with MSFT and they plan to add more in 2017. Below is a copy of the attributes we have access today.
