Page 431 in the above linked Documentation shows information on configuring TACACS+

Any tips for making a custom TACACS service to use? I tried this with no luck

what are you trying to achieve? I assume admin login to the IOLAN devcice?

If you look further down in the documentation, you find, that:

So try this:

Rename your service to Exec (name=Exec). Display name may remain Perle_Custom.

Try to login again.

Sadly that also didn't work.  But yes, I am trying to convert Admin login to TACACS+, I have RADIUS working on Clearpass for these devices but am being asked to make TACACS+ work. I will likely raise a case with TAC next week if I don't find a solution before then.

I know this is a LOOOOOONG time ago, but I'm trying to do the same thing and not having any luck.  Have you gotten this working?
