    Hello Guys,

     

    We've been trying clearpass from version 6.1.4.55458 to the latest release 6.2.0.54353.

     

    We've tried to import this image 'ClearPass 6.2.0.54353 Upgrade Image' into clearpass and install it. But everytime, after uploading, We're getting 'Uploaded file is invalid, does not have meta file or unrecognised type or does not have valid signature' error. Please see the attached image.

     

    Could you please help on this resolving this?

    what image are you using to upgrade?

    ClearPass 6.2.0.54353 Upgrade Image

    ClearPass 6.2.0.54353 Upgrade Image-SIGNED

    I'm trying to use ClearPass 6.2.0.54353 Upgrade Image (not the SIGNED image). You're gonna suggest to use the signed image?

    You shouldn't have to.

    Do you not have internet access with your CPPM?

    Try importing the file trough the GUI and then run the upgrade in the CLI.

    We've Internet access from CPPM.

    Also I'm trying to import it first and then upgrade only. But after the import reaches 100%, I'm getting this error..

    How to proceed this?!

    I didnt look at your screen shot before but I just looked at it and its showing that you are trying the VMDK file not the .bin file. 

     

    You need to use this file

    Hi Troy,

     

    Sorry about the wrong screenshot before. Actually we've downloaded the bin fileonly. CPPM-x86_64-6.2.0.54353-upgrade.bin.

     

    After the import turns out 100%, I'm getting the same error. Any command line steps to import and upgrade would be helpful for us. Please advise.,

    CLI upgrade

    system upgrade -i filename.xxx.bin

    or you can host it locally

    system upgrade -i http://test.test.com/filename.xxx.bin



    If its a update samething just use update instead of upgrade
