Would anyone by chance have information on integrating Clearpass with Smoothwall?

What do you mean by integrate? What are you looking to do?

We would like to send our wireless web traffic through Smoothwall, and of course utilize Clearpass for group mappings etc.

I took a quick look through their knowledge base and they don’t appear to support external identity updates via API or RADIUS accounting.

That looks like it would work using our RADIUS proxy feature but we haven’t tested with this vendor.

By that you mean we can forward the RADIUS info from Clearpass?

You would enable RADIUS proxy in your ClearPass services pointed to the web filter. Looks like they want the group info in an IETF filter-id attribute.

Yes exactly, we are doing this with Clearpass and Aruba currently for a few customers.
