We're upgrading from Clearpass 6.6 to 6.7, and have decided to redeploy our cluster in order to increase the disk size of the nodes.  We accidentally chose the c1000v option at deployment instead of c2000v.  Since hardware requirements are similar between these two products, we can't decide whether to redeploy again on the c2000v platform.  TAC couldn't tell us if there was any problem sticking with the c1000v.  They did claim there's no way to convert between the two platforms in-place.

If you need the performance of a C2000V, then you should build a new VM with the appropriate specs.

I suppose what I'm really asking is whether a c1000v will perform identically to a c2000v if they are both provisioned with the same VM hardware.

    OK, we'll redeploy.  Thanks Tim!

I know this thread is a bit dated, but I came across it when trying to upgrade our appliance. The command you are looking for is "system morph-vm C2000V"
