Clearpass - guest user_create page disable 'accept terms'

    On the page for receptionionist to create guest account, I'd like to be able to remove the 'accept terms and conditions' bit that they have to tick.

     

    I've tried to edit the form and disable this field, but it still shows an error saying 'you must accept terms and conditions'.

     

    Is there a way to remove this condition for the guest account creation?

    In the "creator_accept_terms" field settings for that form, change the inital value to "1" so that it still submits "True" without the user seeing the button. You could also probably just uncheck "Field Required"

    I tried unchecking the 'field required' field, but that didn't seem to do anything.

     

    I will try your other suggestion tomorrow though.

    Victor is correct. You will need to do two things

     

    1. Change the user interface fields from Checkbox to Hidden

    2. In the Initial Value: enter 1

    I am using ClearPass 6.4.  I followed the instruction but am still getting the "You must accept the terms of use to create a visitor account"

     

    creator_accept_terms currently hidden and disabled

    Set values as instructed

    Still getting error

    I tried taking Captcha field out and still got the same error.  Anyone else having this issue?

    Nevermind, found the answer myself.  Here is what I did different:

     

    I made the changes in configuration>pages>field.    Originally I made the changes in "guest self-registration editor" and it didn't work for me.

    Guys,

     

    Do not forget to check 'Always use initial value on form submit' option in 'Advance' part of the field. Other options must be:

    -Enable this field: enabled

    -User interface: hidden field

    -Initial value: 1
