Clearpass in HA mode

Have one virtual appliance (v6.4.2) in production and running for quite some time.  Just purchased another to act as a hot standby.  Is there a simple way to proceed?

Join it to the cluster and then add it to your network devices as a radius server.

Then you can setup the virtual IP for guest access.

Thanks,

What are your goals for HA?  Is it just for redundancy or to load balance RADIUS requests?

Re: Clearpass in HA mode

just redundancy

Re: Clearpass in HA mode

Great...then you should be able to add the second node as a subscriber and then create a VIP between them.

If your controllers are on 6.4, I would highly recommend enabling radius load balancing.
