Clearpass websockets how can you tell its doing something useful?

    I've just enabled clearpass web sockerts on our dev mobility controller.

     

    Basically our building is on it own set of controllers with its own clearpass cluster. 

     

    I can see on the controller that its connected to clearpass insight

    ... but what does that mean?

     

    Is there anywher on the controller that shows me some meaningful information as to why I might  enable the clearpass websockets ?

    Well, when you look through the command set on the cli and on airheads and find instructions on how to link a mobility controller and clearpass, you sort of expect that there's a reason for it ... especially when you're running the latest 8.5 code . .... so I was trying to find out what it was there for and whether it might be of some use.

    No. It's old and was never used.
