Connecting Apple TV to 802.1x

    I've followed the instructions in the following link to try to connect Apple TV to our wireless network via 802.1x without success.  Can anyone enlighten me if there's something else that needs to be configured, i.e. controller firewall, required ports etc?

    What generation are the atv's? Only gen 3 support 1X reliably due to the lack of an internal battery for the clock.

    I'm guessing it's a gen 3 because it was purchased less than a week ago.
