I have two primary VLANS for two separate wireless networks (one network for faculty and one for students). I have Airplay enabled on the faculty VLAN but blocked for the student VLAN. I have AirPrint enabled on both VLANs which has led to students being able to print to printers on the faculty VLAN. My question is this:

Can I have AirPrint enabled for both VLANs but configure either Airgroup or rules in the user roles to prevent printers in one VLAN from being displayed in another?

    Any help is appreciated.

    That combination would require ClearPass.

Ok. If I disabled Airgroup, would AirPrint/Airplay still work as long as the devices are are in the same VLAN (devices in VLAN1 can AirPrint/Airplay to printers and appletvs in VLAN1 while the same devices in vlan2 behave the same)?

If you are using drop broadcast/multicast (which is highly recommended these days), no.
