Thanks for the link, There appears to be some redundancy in the module functionality?

Each Module has a pretty specific function...

Which overlap(s) are you thinking of that we can discuss more here?

Sorry for the delay in response,

It seems that Guest is fairly straight forward and a significant improvement over the existing controller based guest Captive Portal

OnGuard's functionality appears diverse of any of the other modules.

It appears that QuickConnect may provide some of the same functionality that Onboard does but is cloud based not requiring the ClearPass Policy Manager?

The Profile module seems to duplicate some of the Policy mananger functionality. These are only my perceptions based on the available documentation in an effort to evaluate them for purchase.

You are correct.  OnBoard does 'overlap' on QuickConnect.

OnBoard is a brand new feature of ClearPass, whereas QuickConnect has been around a while.

One difference is that OnBoard is server based (you buy a license) whereas Quick Connect its cloud based (you buy a subscription).

If you are buying ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) then adding Onboard would be the way to go.

If all you need is profile file generation and don't have CPPM, then QuickConnect becomes very attractive.
