    Hello, 

     

    Only me that has the problem that Clearpass identifies Samsung Android devices as Computers, not as Smartdevices anymore? Since i'm using the device category the set the correct role it kind of messes things up.

    If i look in the tracker the fingerprint looks like the attached picture.

     

    Running 6.7.8 with the lastest (december) fingerprint file.

    I just checked and seem to have this with 1 Android device in my own ClearPass.

     

    You can override the fingerprint, or create your own fingerprinting rule to quickly overcome that.

     

    Besides that, please open a TAC case to submit the new fingerprint. In that case please include a screenshot of all the attributes in the endpoint database and the A) Make, B) Model, C) Manufacturer. In that way, it can be included in a future fingerprint update.
