Does anybody using fortinet wireless with clearpass for guest self regestration.

I need some suggestion ..

I am looking for guest self registration in fortinet wireless with
Clearpass.

I just checked and saw that they are doing captive portal with internal
only. [*Captive portal page and user id both are coming from internal DB*]
There is no option to add external captive portal page, If its there
please let me know.

Does anybody integrate a fortigate with Clearpass as radius server?. In the radius test, pass success, But when i put the autentication as captive portal or 802.1x for wifi, The autentication fails.

With other Radius, server works fine.

 

Any idea?

I have written a guide on how to create a guest network SSID on FortiGate using ClearPass as the external captive portal. As for regular dot1x, any "allow" should work or you can return a valid group back to the Fortigate: Radius:Fortinet:Fortinet-Group-Name
