So we recently (Yesterday) switched to office 365. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with getting clearpass to send out e-mails using the cloud e-mail? Previously we had exchange 2003 set up and it used that, now that we've moved it's continuing to send it to our old accounts, and when I've updated the information on our new off-site SMTP on it, it doesn't send e-mails at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to do a raw SMTP relay? That may not be possible with cloud-based Exchange. You will most likely need to create a ClearPass mailbox and then get the SMTP settings for the mailbox from Outlook Web App under Settings > Options > See All Options > Account > Settings for POP and IMAP access.

You could also try and add a local relay using IIS through an O365 mailbox. See below:

These setting work for me just fine.
