I have setup guest self-reg with sponsor lookup. The guest fills in the form and put the sponsor email(through LDAP lookup) and clearpass is sending the email to the guest as a receipt but not to the sponsor as a notification. The always auto-send email is on and I haven't made any changes to any of the fields on my form. the other thing is that when I enable (require sponsor approval) the sponsor indeed gets the email to approve the account. On the logs, I see the "warning" below which looks like an error in the LDAP lookup side BUT that is working fine when U enable require sponsor approval:
