    Hi,

When we write rules in a policy, there is option to stamp dscp and 802.1p values to the packets hitting the rule. There is also an option to set it in high queue or low queue.

what does this high queue and low queue mean?

    Regards,

I don't know where I saw it, but it is something along the lines of when a high queue packet is received, it is immediately processed before other packets that only have a low queue.

Good idea for voice traffic and traffic for other mission critical applications.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your opinion.

Is there any way this can be tested.

How quick a packet is processed if its in the high queue & when its on the low queue.

Try to do a session mirroring of the traffic by writing an acl.

i am aware this is an old post, however i am interested to know if these low and high options are marked to be picked up by QOS at the AP and beyond or it is just used for the wireless part of the "trip"

it is just on the wireless and the packets are not marked.
