In an enterprise, where both type of access are configured i.e For employees bringing new BYOD devices the Onboard portal must appear and for guests coming to the premises, the Guest portal must appear. So how this decision takes place by CPPM automatically for each newly connected device.

You'd have to provide a button/link if you're going to use a unified portal.

In case of separate portals, how is it decided which portal to show up, in case of a new device connectivity?

It depends on how you define your policies , based on certain criteria/use case you can enforce the different portals

You land all users on the guest portal and add a button for employees to Onboard.

This sounds good. Thanks. Just a small doubt though, That button for employees will be directed to onboard portal or the guest portal itself will be used for onboarding purpose?
