Dear Arubers,
I want to deploy some Instant clusters on different sites, managed by an Airwave server.
I want a WPA2/PSK SSID with a pre-shared key consolidated by a MAC authentication.
These topics seem to validate this situation :
https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controllerless-Networks/How-to-setup-Mac-Authentication-on-IAP-93/td-p/164704
Screenshot for WPA2-PSK on IAP
My main constraint is to keep MAC authentication even if the site is isolated from network so a central Clearpass server isn’t a solution for me.
Thus i think about local MAC authentication on Instant AP. I know that IAP can do MAC authentication alone but I have more than 4000 mac adresses to fill.
So, my question is : Is it possible to push a MAC list from the Airwave server to Instant cluster ? Even for a big quantity of MAC adresses (by a Excel or a txt list ?) ?
I have seen this topic : https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controllerless-Networks/MAC-Authentication-Automaic-Push/td-p/115779
But I don’t know if it’s alway true in 2019.
If yes, is it possible to complete all the MAC list in one time or should be divided by instant clusters ?
Thanks a lot for your help.
I didn't found any details on datasheet about these options...
