Hi,
Trying to setup my lab Clearpass and am stuck on joining it to the domain.
I've tried on GUI and CLI but get the following errors
sh: -c: line 0: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"' sh: -c: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file INFO - Restoring smb configuration INFO - Restoring krb5 configuration file INFO - Deleting domain directories for 'MIS-CDS' ERROR - 10.255.32.5 failed to join the domain MIS-CDS.LAB with domain controller as mercury.mis-cds.lab
I assume this is needed to use the ad to authenticate users, but wondering what caveats there are in joining the domain. Bearing mind, this is a lab setup, so no doubt there are things I haven't or can't do.
Thanks

The server name you are joining must be a FQDN
The CPPM server must have a DNS that can resolve that FQDN

It looks like you have some special characters in the password for the account you are using to join. Try changing the password or using a different account.

Bit by bit, I'll get this ClearPass worked out.
Thanks
