MAC address of enterprise clients get added to internal mac db

    MAC address of enterprise clients get added to internal mac db every time they connect. Is this by design of did I make a configuration error somewhere?

    I tried playing around with the "MAC Authentication Defualt Role" on the relevant dot1x profile, but this doesn't make a difference.

    If you have "enforce machine authentication" enabled in the 802.1x profile, that will happen.  It is used to keep track of devices that have already passed machine authentication.
