MSCHAP ERROR: pipe is broken

    Hi All,

    I am getting MSCHAP ERROR: PIPE IS BROKEN.on CPPM when trying to do 802.1x auth, and after that Client could not complete the EAP transaction.

    So far I did the following troubleshooting,

    1. Restarted Clearpass domain server.

    2. Restarted CPPM radius and policy service.

    3. Restarted the CPPM box.

    4. Cleared the cache from auth source.

    But the issue is still there..

    Thanks Pasquale,

    I already gone through that doc, and I restarted the complete box.

    So I dont think there is any need to restart the services again.

    Update:

    Upgraded the box from 6.3.4 to 6.3.5 and issue resolved :)

    looking like something got corrupted inside the box.
