Master - Standby issue with synchronizing Radius server key

    Hi to all,

     

    I have a issue with synchronizing radius server key from master to local WLC.

    Basically all config is synchronized but key on WLC2 for Radius server is Changeme:

     

    #show aaa authentication-server radius server-radius
    RADIUS Server "server-radius"
    ----------------------------
    Parameter                              Value
    ---------                              -----
    Host                                   10.0.252.36
    Key                                    Changeme

     

    Key can not be changed/added on WLC2 as it is Master-Standby configuration. I tried to save configuration/wr mem on WLC1 but key stayed the same.

     

     #show switches

    Is there any special command to trigger synchronization of Radius servers or what should be next step in troubleshooting?

    did you ever figure this one out? i can't really think of anything expect a restart of something like that. i don't know of any extra sync command or such.

     

    did it really not work btw? were requests from that local denied by the radius server?

     

    which ArubaOS version are you running?

     

    else there is always support to contact.

    Have you tried to remove and readd, or create a new one?

    Hi to all,

    Aruba adviced to use command:

     

    cfgm set sync-type complete

     

    It was on: ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba6000), Version 6.1.3.13

     

    This helped and radius server configuration has synched right away. Everything else was working also.

    Hoping this will help somebody else.
