Hi to all Gurus,

 

it seems the clearpass its not able to detect the McAfee Internet Security and can only detect windows defender:

 

 

from the anti virus support chart, there is no McAfee Internet Security version 14.x:

 

 

it suppose to show both windows defender and McAfee Internet Security inside right in the access tracker. is it because of inside the support chart only showing this:

 

I guess this is more of a feature request as you've displayed that you're using a version that ClearPass isn't supporting yet.

yes but it should be detected inside the access tracker right..maybe
showing as 'unknown'

Can you be specific on which product and version, we continually add new products/versions.

 

I'm also assuming here you are referring to OnGuards inability to check for this product?

The product is:



- McAfee Internet Security

- Version: 14:0

- Release Name: 14.0 R11

Is that mean, all the AV not listed there won’t be detected inside the Access tracker?

I don't believe today we don't support this version. Additionally this is not a single product it's a collection of products.

 

To your Q about AT, within the posture information for the endpoint in AT it wouldn't report against this product as we can't detect it under OnGuard.
