PEF required for PEFV/LIC-VIA?

    Dear Experts, 

     

    As far as i know, any type of vpn client in AOS 8.x requires PEFV/LIC-VIA licenses. What about PEF license? is it required as well or we can have the via setup without using PEF licenses?

    addition to PEFV/LIC-VIA?

    If this controller is only for VIA clients, only the PEFV license would be required.

    i guess it should be usable without pef (all via clients go to the default authenticated role any any allow)

    Hi,

    If we want to create seperate roles, is it possible with pefv alone?

    I think YES because you need to edit user-role for VIA users.
