    Hi,

     

    I want to implement Pre-paid Internet Wi-Fi access in college campus & branches.

     

    If any student want to get Wi-Fi internet access then first he should connect broadcasted SSID and on the first web page there will be option for payment gateway. Once he paid for access as per the internet access charges he should get Internet access time & login credential on his mobile or web page..

     

    how can i achieve this? Kindly guide me..

    Do you have ClearPass Guest?



    Also, just a non-technical side note. In the US, if you have are using public IP space tied to a .edu domain, you can't use your bandwidth for commercial purposes and many times charging for network access falls into this. Just an FYI.

    Yes, I hv ClearPass Guest, Controller & SMS server.

    Yes. i can user internet bandwidth for commericial use.

     

    I have Aruba controller, Clearpass Guest license & Clearpass policy manager license.

     

    My requirement - I will provide internet access to Guest user on time slot basis like 24 hrs, 72 hrs & 1 Week.

     

    Is it possible Guest user can login & log-off multiple time upto assigned time slot?

    Yes, users with an active guest account can log in freely while their account is still active. You can also configure MAC caching which will allow the device to automagically login without user interaction while the account is still active.

    You would use Guest and CPPM. There is no single document that covers this but the CP Guest manual goes over it. Also, I would work with your Aruba SE or VAR to set this setup.
