Required basic Guest Services

    Hello,

     

    For someone with more ClearPass experience this question is quite simple, but for new user it is quite important.

     

    So, in case one wants to create a Guest self-registration WLAN access, what would be the basic services (nothing fancy/complicated in form of Role Mapping/Enforcement Profiles, just to get thing working) that would provide:

     

    • Access to Captive Portal
    • Capability to self-register with logon details being sent to user's email
    • Be remembered by ClearPass (MAC caching) for certain period of time, removing need for re-registration

    As well, what is the order in which services are executed during association/registration/authentication process? Thanks in advance.

    The Guest with MAC-Caching service template should provide everything you
    need.
