SNMP on CPPM

    We've recently installed CPPM and would like to have SNMP read access to it from our NMS and also add it to Airwave but can't seem to get it to work.

    I've added them to the SNMP trap receivers but this seems to be only for traps and not allowing our NMS and Airwave SNMP read access.

     

    How do I configure CPPM to allow SNMP read access from our NMS and Airwave?

    Hi Jon,

     

    In CPPM server we navigate to Administration » Server Manager » Server Configuration» double click on the server » click on System Monitoring to create snmp community string (v2 or v3).

     

    In Airwave Navigate to Device Setup » select Add » select Clearpass Policy manager from the drop down and we need to input the CPPM server ip, communtiy string and select the group & folder that the server need to be placed and click on Add.
