Sending sponsor mail

    I Enabled ldap search for Sponsor on slef registration field, & its pulling the data from AD.

    When searching for a user I can mail address of the user.

    But I am not able to send mail to that account.

    I dont want to use another field for sponsor mail id.

    Did you configure the SMTP server settings in ClearPass and do a test email?

    Yeah SMTP is working.
    When I am configuring sponsor mail field on reg page I am able to get mail, so everything is working.
    But I don’t want my guest user to put mail address like that. They can just type their sponsor name on sponsor lookup field, from there CPPM should take mail id of sponsor and send a mail to the sponsor.

    Have you verified that the "E-mail" attribute in AD is populated? That is where the sponsor_email field is populated from by default. You can also change the AD attribute that is used for sponsor email.

    Yes,I am able to see mail id of sponsor when I am typing the sponsor name.
    but email is not going to the sponsor.

    There are no logs in application log.

    Can you post a screenshot of the Operator Login -> Servers configuration you are using. Specifically what is set in the 'Display Attributes' and 'Attribute Mapping' boxes.
