WiFI Authentication computer based

Hi guys,

Our current setup includes GPO pushing out certs. this is for both Users and Workstations to connect to Wireless and Wired network.

we have clearpass based authentication for the above and have 802.1x enabled.

the problem we are facing is new user profile are not able to login without cable connection.

we have 2 settings 1 for wired and another 1 for wifi

in GPO under wireless network IEEE we have set the authentication mode to "User or Computer". even if i change it to computer authentication for the WIFI setting wifi wont connect.

so wanted to see if i need to make any changes to clearpass policies or should be focusing on GPO setting only?

Re: WiFI Authentication computer based

ClearPass should also be able to authenticate machines (devices in the Domain Computers AD group) for machine authentication to be successful.  Look in the access tracker for incoming requests from usernames that start with "host/"
