cannot activate new Clearpass 6.7 install

    Hi 

     

    I haven't done this before, so I might have missed something. 

    1. I converted subscriptionID on support pages

    2. installed new 6.7 Clearpass, not upgraded from 6.6 - but bought with 6.6 licenses, never installed

    3. At first login, it will ask for activation key - I enter all the license keys I have for the converted licenses, both 5k access lic and the 25 OB and 25 OG - none work

    4. should I have installed 6.6 first - activated, upgraded then convert licenses??

    Best to work with Aruba TAC for things like this.

    Hi

    I run into this as well

    If you export the old 6.6 license from the license portal you get a csv file. In that file you will find a activation key.

    So no need for a re install

    Yes, as Frank said.. Just use the 6.6 CP-VA-xx license-key - it works as platform license for 6.7
