    Hi guys,

We had a scenario where our customer want to have single customized captive portal for all types of users (local staff, overseas staff, contractor, and guest). Local and overseas staff will use AD authentication, while contractor and guest will use local database.

We plan to have a customized web login page where users can choose which type of user they are, and perform enforcement based on their profile. In the web login page, we found that we can create custom field and add into the form. However, we don't know how to extract that custom field to be used for authorization and enforcement. Anybody can help ?

    Thanks.

Why don't you have ClearPass check both databases (put in two authentication sources) and just have the user put in their username and password.  If the username is from AD, give them a specific type of enforcement.  If the username is from the local database, give them a different type of enforcement...

This is the correct way to do it -- on a web login, you do NOT want to "provide a custom login form" and recreate your forms from scratch.
