tips-checkup-service seems to be hanging on startup

    Brand new ClearPass Policy Manager 6.0 appliance. Powered up, connected console cable, saw the startup....the gets to "tips checkup-service: [OK]" and hangs...have left it for thirty minutes now and it has not moved on....any ideas?

     

    Just want to get the basic config on there.

    Paul,

     

    Are you still having an issue.

     

    One thing to remember is the first boot will always take 20-30 min to prepare the drives.

    Ive done a quite a few hardware installs have never seen it hang like that. 

     

    Is there a way that you can take a screen shot of the page its sitting on. 

     

    Please open a TAC case.

    All resolved now - we wired up a keyboard and screen to the box and managed to get signed in. The install manual says wire up a console connection to a terminal and the device will be ready for configuration and you should get a login prompt - didn't get that on the console, but did on the connected screen.
