2930m Stuck on initialization when stacking card is in

    Hello,

     

    I have an Aruba 2930m and whenever the stacking card is in the slot it will get stuck on Initializing.... The ports have all faulted (Solid orange on all of the ports). Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you!

    This definitely doesn't sound like expected behavior.  Has this switch previously been part of a stack (or connected to another switch using a stacking cable), or is it in a factory default state?

     

    One thing to try to get more information is to boot the switch without the stacking module installed, then run the command show logging -a to get log entries from previous boot cycles; if there were any error messages logged during initialization related to the stacking module, they should show up in there.
