Aruba CX OVA on GNS3

    Hi all,

     

    Need some help here releted to CX OVA on GNS3.

     

    Problem I'm facing is when I start the CX OVA template on GNS3 my machine gets restart automatically.

    I have windows 10 virtual machine hosted on VMware esxi 6.7 

    GNS3 is installed on this machine

    Oracle virtual box 

    CX OVA is imported using oracle virtual box.

     

    Can someone help me on this

    Try gns3 application with gns3-vm without virtual-box. nested virtualization not supported by virtual box.

    I tried with GNS3 VM, but while importing appliance getting checksum error.

    This is not the correct file. The MD5 sum is 094977687746989fad5aaa5303c9b41e and should be 79246d469649e090ef3cf8740bb38d12.

    Do you want to accept it at your own risks?

    I have downloaded the appliance file and OVA file from (AFP Portal) Arubapedia.

     

    I have attached the error screenshots also.

    I tired that,

     

    even after ignoring that error it shows under status that file is missing.

    Please use the latest OVA 10.04.3000 from AFP (should be soon available on ASP as well). This includes more interfaces (9 dataplane + 1 for OOBM).

     

    For GNS3 appliance import, please refer to this doc attached.

    Simply select the file that is missing and import the proper vmdk file that is contains inside the OVA (use 7zip for instance to extract the vmdk from OVA package).

    10.04.3000 has also IP-SLA (which was missing before).

    This allows to practice on NAE script that trigger action based on IP-SLA alert.

    Hi,

     

    Thanks for the suggestions,

     

    Finally got it working....

     

    I extracted the OVA file and imported the vmdk file in gns3.

     

    Version : Virtual.10.04.0001

     

    I will try same with 10.04.3000 also.
