    Hi all,

I have attached the diagram of three tire Campus network topology,

Here as per documents it seems like Core node with VSX is wins.

My question here is I have One VSX cluster in Building A and One VSX cluster in Building B.

I want to have L3 connectivity between them by bundling ports on both the VSX cluster

    is this possible ?

Related to diagram attached what kind of link is shown between both VSX cluster.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Below is the sample diagram of what i want to achieve,

    Harsh_P_0-1594561324764.png

I want to have L3 connectivity between CAMPUS BLDG & DC BLDG by means of having L3 Port-Channel.

Earlier we were having comware series switch were we had created route aggregation between those two BLDG.

Or what could be the best way to do so ?

Yes, it is possible with ArubaCX to create L3 Lag interface

In 10.3/10.4/10.5 you can create a L3 LAG on the same CX switch

but not a L3 VSX LAG (MCLAG). This is not yet supported.

For the above simple topology, I would suggest to use OSPF routing

on each point-to-point L3 link. Typical convergence time in case of link failure should be less or equal to one second with default OSPF timer.

If this is not fast enough, you can tune OSPF spf-throttling timers.

The other alternative is to use VSX LAG between the VSX pairs, with transit VLAN (and associated SVI). This improves the convergence time down to few hundreds of milliseconds, if needed.

    Hi Vincent,

As per your suggestion i have used OSPF.

    Thanks for your information
