ArubaOS-Switch – How to View per Process CPU Utilization

MVP
MVP
Requirement:

ArubaOS Switch

Solution:

When CPU utilization is too high, switch performance is degraded. The cause may be found by looking at how much CPU utilization is used for each process. In the following example, switch Rack2sw1 is enabled for Process-Tracking.

Configuration:

Rack2sw1# process-tracking
ATTENTION: You are enabling the 'Process-Tracking' capability for the module.
This can affect the performance of the module.

Do you want to enable Process-Tracking functionality [y/n]? y
Process-tracking started
Process-tracking time interval: 30 seconds

Rack2sw1# task-monitor cpu

Verification

Rack2sw1# show cpu process

Process tracker state: ACTIVE
Process tracking time: 30 seconds
