I am trying to get rid of the need to constantly hit space bar on show commands. I have tried both the screen length and no page commands and neither one seems to be permanent. Once I reboot the switch and/or change sessions the commands stop working. Is there any way to make these options permanent?

Thanks for the response. The switches we are using are 2930Ms and 2530s so it should be ArubaOS.

Paging is enabled by default for a new CLI session.

This is a per CLI session command.

    Refer AOS 8.5.0.0 CLI Reference Guide(Page: 813).

    Use the command "no paging".

The command should be the same irrespective of the code version.

You need to have enable access to issue this command.

This should solve having to hit the space bar continuously.

    Hi Alexis,
    Thanks for pointing that out.

The switch equivalent for the 2930f series is
    "no page".
More information can be seen in the cli,
    Switch>?
Information on toggling the "page" should be available.

Thanks for the response. I have tried the "no page" command, but it isn't permanent. I would rather not enter it every time I login to a switch, so I was wondering if there was a command that wasn't tied to your session.

Thanks for the suggestion, but after trying it it seems that is also tied to your session. I had to enter it each time I logged into a switch. Seems like there isn't a permanent option for that.

The Switch CLI format is designed to show a paged output. You have to enter "no page" in every new session. There is no permanent option.
