Issues with SFP+ Dac and 5406R switches

    has anyone else had any issues using DAC cables to connect 2 5406R switches for VSF?  We are using HPE 

    J9283B DAC

    which is on the supported list of cables. We do have a case open for this but it taking a long time. 

    with every version of 16.x firmware we have tried it shows as non genuine HPE parts(even thou the hardware was ordered thru a HPE var, and was shiped from HP)

    To help us figure this out, we would need some additional info about the devices in question.  Could you please PM me the output of show tech (as an attachment) on the affected switches with the DAC(s) in question attached?
