    Hi there,

Yes, the Aruba 3810M/2930M 4SFP+ MACsec Module has 4 normal usable ports (interface A1-A4) except that they are SFP+ capable. We have several topologies wher they use them as (aggregated) up link ports to the edge (for example switch stacks)

Hi! Please pay attention that basically any RJ45/SFP/SFP+/... port (except for special Stacking Modules' ports) you normally find in a fixed/modular Aruba Switch..."has no color"...usually the fastest port is considered good enough for "Uplink" to another Distribution/Core Switch or good enough for "Downlink" to another Access Switch...but there isn't a preset that made a port "for Uplink only"...it's a matter of how you will configure such port (in terms of VLAN, Spanning Tree, LAG, etc.)...generally a port can be used to connect an edge device (usually carrying one VLAN or, sometimes, multiple VLANs) or to connect to another Switch (normally carrying multiple VLANs)...the latter is the case when such port is called/known as an uplink or downlink port.
