There is no MACsec support with the current 10.4 release.

As this is a roadmap question, please contact your local Aruba SE.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Understood, no roadmap questions here ;-)
By the way, it's sad that there is no MACSec support yet.
Severely impedes deployment of the new devices.

Are the CX switches and ASICs MACSec hardware ready?

Does anyone know if its been put in the plans to add MACSec.   I mentioned this to my SE 6 months ago.  Doesn't make sense to go from AOS switches that support MACSec to CX switches that do not.   Seems like a rush to market approach.  As a customer I was looking forward to using CX with Netedit to have better control of my configs but without MACSec I would have to maintain my AOS systems and manage two completely different platforms along with the different management tools for those and templates.

As Vincent said, this is not the place to discuss roadmap topics, unfortunately.

All I can I add is that I contacted my Aruba SE, and we addressed the issue to Aruba product management.

Regarding CX in general, I find it a little, lets say, "unbalanced".
In some areas, it's way ahead of ArubaOS, while in other areas, it lacks functionality that has been around for years.

Well, so far, I am not impressed.

NetEdit is another sad issue, as it only supports CX if you want full functionality.
AOS devices have the same level of support as any third party device, if I am not mistaken.

That's a disappointing product strategy from a customer's point of view.

As a follow up, in November of 2020, Aruba introduced the CX 8360 series. This series does support MACSec on the front ports (not uplinks).

Searching in google for MACSec lead me to this post so decided to write an update, Aruba CX 6200 and 6300 do support MACsec now.

    MACsec commands
    Release Modification
10.11.1000 Command introduced on the 6200.
10.10 Command introduced on the 6300

For more information reffer to the security Guide for CX Switches 6200, 6300, 6400.

PS: Anyone knows if the Aruba CX 6400 supports MACSec? Looks like not yet.

    Best regards

    Luis

The feature navigator states that it's hardware capable, but not yet software supported for CX6400

    https://feature-navigator.arubanetworks.com/

Also. only 8360 have MACSEC of the 8xxx models as far as I can see.
