    Hi all.

    I am looking for the MTBF info for the some switchs:

    Aruba 2920-48G Switch (J9728A)
    Aruba 5406R zl2 Switch (J9821A)
    Aruba 2930F 48G Switch(JL254A)
    ARUBA 1920S 24G Switch

    These are the numbers that I have:

     

    Aruba 2920-48G Switch (J9728A):  309541 hours

    Aruba 5406R zl2 Switch (J9821A): depends on the modules; chassis J9850A: 700800 hours
    Aruba 2930F 48G Switch(JL254A): 565161 hours
    ARUBA 1920S 24G Switch (JL381A):  700800 hours

    Hi,

    Can you mention  Aruba 2930F 48G  740W POE+ (JL558A) and 8G 125W POE+ (JL258A) as well?

    Dear Herman,

     

    I'm registered Aruba Partner with access to Aruba/HPE technical library, but with no documents which states MTBF.

     

    I don't understand why this information is not publicly available, since it is important attribute of "reliable" L2 access/edge switch. Otherwise people will put these products in same basket as TP-Link, Planet...

    I do understand. It is however that these data can only be requested through an Aruba Employee for switches. You have seen some of the numbers above, and these show the equipment is reliable.

     

    Please reach out to your Aruba SE to get this data.

    Predicted MTBF/hrs

    J9773A 24G PoE+ - 419,139

    J9774A 8G PoE+  1,536,842

    J9775A 48G - 530,909

    J9776A 24 G- 591,892

     

    In addition, Predicted AFR/%

    J9773A 24G PoE+ - 2.09

    J9774A 8G PoE+ - 0.57
