    Hi there,

Does the 2930F switch have the capability to mirror ports?

I am trying to monitor a port and cannot see any configuration command for it.

Quick response would be fantastic, much obliged.

You have local and remote mirrors in AOS-Switch. Since you're not specifically asking for remote mirrors I'll provide an example of a local mirror. A local mirror copies traffic to a certain destination port on the same switch. Hereby the steps:

    • mirror 1 - 4 port <PORT# EXIT the traffic>
    • Then you go to:

      - interface <PORT/TRUNK>

      monitor all [in|out|both] mirror <SESSION> [no-tag-added]

This is the most simple version of a mirror. You have more functions to select specific traffic, remote mirror etc.

      Hope this helps you!
