    Hi there,

I just downloaded NetEdit 1.1 and when installing can select a "Starter Pack" license. It allows 25 devices. From datasheet, this should be a trial license.

From what I could see, it doesn't seem to (technically) expire.

I wonder if I can use the Trial/Starter-Pack license forever legally.

    Thanks

Will 2.0 still support that 25 devices free license?

I'm also hoping to see NetEdit 2.0 out very soon :) We're wondering if we should get 2930 or 6300... for our use case (dynamic segmentation) they would be on par. Someone said 6300 is more like 3810 but with dynamic segmentation for us it's 2930 vs 6300 now :)

If NetEdit 2.0 is great and there will be lot's of NAE stuff in the next couple months 6300 would be really interesting... also if you can orchestrate EVPN from NetEdit that would really make a difference

@alagoutte You wanted NetEdit 2.0 Release Notes? you got it! ;-)

Is there a somekind of EVPN orchestrator available, or do you need to do it manually? Just quickly tried the new version and seems you can have the VXLAN tunnels on the network topology view but is there a way to create those from NetEdit too?

Or maybe even return some VSAs from ClearPass to dynamically assign port to a correct EVPN?

    Hi,

Can this version orchestrate the ArubaOS-CX version .ova (Virtual.10.02.0010)?

Or only works with physical devices?

I think NetEdit uses the REST API to talk with the switches? I think .ova also has REST API available so it probably works?

Still in the progress of testing this myself so let me know if you manage to get it working :)

    Yes !

NetEdit perfectly works with OVA so that you can practice, self-train on NetEdit and CX OVA on virtualization environment.
