Packet Loss to s2500

Hi Guys, I'm experincing about 10% packet loss between my s2500 switches and a procurve 5412zl.  I've used both 1g and 10g connections between the two switches, it does not seem to make any difference (different SFPs on both sides, different new fiber cables).  I'm seeing the same thing on several s2500s that are being used.

I've tried setting up jumbo packets (both switches), set the speeds to 10g or 1g (both sides again) and played with the duplex settings - nothing seems to make any difference.

The code on the aruba s2500s is version ArubaOS 7.4.1.0, and on the procurve 5412zl it's K.16.01.0004.

Any other suggestions or ideas what else could cause this?

    Thank You!

When you say packet loss, how are you measuring packet loss?

I'm just using a machine to ping both the 5406R and the s2500.  It appears when the I/O gets heavy that's when I really start to see dropped packets to the s2500, I never loose any packets from the same workstation to the 5400r.

I was checking the CPU load on the Aruba before the heavy loads and during them and it's pretty low as well.

    Thanks for any info!

Do you have a network diagram of the setup?
