    If I wanted to connect my IAPs to a basic PoE switch, would I be looking at your Mobility Access switches?

    Yes, there are 3 lines:
    S1500
    S2500
    S3500

     

    This datasheet offers a good overview of the differences.

    The MAS integrates with the Instants for things like rogue AP detection and VLAN trunks. You can also manage both the Instant and switch from the Airwave management system.

    Yes, that switch end of sale at 31-Dec-16

    Yes, usually i use 2530 for connecting IAP
