S2500 in wired world

    Sorry Rookie Question: 

    With the S2500 or 3500, Lets say I have 50 offices all with 4 wired ports.  Could I patch all 200 wired ports through the 2500 or 3500 switch and control  all 200 ports?  If so what kind of control do I have?

    Neal - can you elaborte on what you mean by control? Are the 200 ports already terminating on an access switch?

    Hi Sto,

     

    You can disable/ enable those ports remotely, make them part of any specific network that you want by tagging/ untagging, make sure what devices connect to those ports, control the speed and duplex on the ports and much more.
