    Hi all,

Probably a really obvious / simple question; but we have some 5406/5412 switch chassis. Some of the places I will be installing them only have 3 pin UK domestic grade power available. Can I plug 4 PSUs from the back of a big 5412 chassis straight into the 3 pin plug on the wall?

I ideally will have UPS etc but worst case might only have domestic style power available.

    Will this be ok?

    Greetings!

As long as you are using power cables with the proper connectors, and the circuit is properly rated for the switch in frequency (50 or 60 Hz), voltage (110-127 or 200-240 VAC), and current (will vary depending on switch power loading), this should work just fine.
