technical and spec difference between JW811A and JW813A

    Hello network gurus! Could you please explain the technical and spec difference between JW811A and JW813A? Are they the same in the sense of the hardware and software?

    The difference is the regulatory domains of these APs, as can be seen in the data sheet.

     

    *JW811A Aruba Instant IAP-315 (RW) 802.11n/ac Dual 2x2:2/4x4:4 MU-MIMO Radio Integrated Antenna AP

    *JW813A Aruba Instant IAP-315 (US) 802.11n/ac Dual 2x2:2/4x4:4 MU-MIMO Radio Integrated Antenna AP

     

    So the hardware and software are the same, but they are restricted in terms of the regulatory domain.

    Pretty strange since I originally answered to OP with my post and then I forgot about it (never touched again as I recall)...only when I received the "Accepted as solution" tag I noticed I wasn't able to find it where it was.
